My Face of Captain America

I've always been in the business of superhero re-imagining. The problem is I'm never in the business of fanart. I used to be, but I stopped, and it was obviously never my thing. I was too busy making original characters and stories in a pre-existing universe rather than doing anything with the pre-made stories and characters. this is sort of why I haven't been in the fanfic/fanart gig since I was like 12; I was doing my own thing so often that using someone else's universe was pointless.

It's probably the mental block preventing me from ever finishing fanart. which is a shame becuase I really want to see what my redesigns for characters look like on paper.

Case here, Captain America, every time I draw him, I put him in a this specific helmet and I stylize the A so it's a star as well, and the wings are painted on. Basically, it's safer and more practical than his hood. I ave an idea of what his armour is going to look like and some day I'll finish it.

I also give him a gun sometimes.

What? He's a soldier! It makes sense!
